What is Ecology?
Hello Scholars! We're Alexus and Miles and welcome to Ecology news Today, we cover all updates and advances within the world of Ecology; However, what is Ecology? Ecology is the scientific study of reactions and interactions of organisms among their population and both the physical and chemical environment. The science of ecology studies involves research of the natural world along with the studies of environmental issues such as pollution and climate change. Ecology also contributes to scientists understanding of evolution of all species, including the evolution of humans. Both Miles and I live in New Jersey. New Jersey is a Temperate Deciduous Forest which means that the temperature changes; normally includes hot summers and cold winters.
Temperate Decidous located is mainly located within Eatern United States,Canada,Europe,China and Japan.Because the temperature within temperate deciduous forests fluctuate these areas are exposed to four seasons. From cold, harsh winters to Hot and humid summers, the average yearly temperature is 10oc. Within fall trees began to change color and the leaves began to fall of trees. The trees overtime evolved and adapted to the winter months by going into hibernation or a short-term period of dormancy. Then in spring and summer the trees leaves grow back and the cycle continues year round. Within our ecosystem we saw many variations of trees; oak, maple, and Hickory. We also encountered variations of birds like Red Robins and Pigeons. Deer,Squirrels,raccoons and geese are commonly spotted within our environment.
